Joining here plugs you into Sigma Phi Epsilon nationally — one of the largest fraternities in the country, with leadership programs, tuition scholarships, and career support that most chapters can’t offer on their own.

The Balanced Man Program

SigEp doesn't pledge. Every member develops continuously from day one through graduation — sound mind, sound body — instead of grinding through a pledge semester and then coasting.

Tuition Scholarships

The SigEp Educational Foundation funds tuition scholarships for undergraduate members, including awards for studying abroad, STEM and architecture majors, and GPA improvement. Members apply through mySigEp.

The Balanced Man Scholarship

SigEp awards 500+ scholarships totalling around $300,000 each year to incoming student leaders — and you don't have to join, or even plan to, in order to apply. Most chapters run an early deadline around June 1.

SigEp's national leadership institute, with scholarship funding that covers attendance for many of the undergraduates selected to go.

Tragos Quest to Greece

A ten-day journey through Greece each June with mentors and professors, studying where the fraternity's values came from. Nothing else in the fraternity world looks like it.

Career Coaching & Life After College

One-on-one career coaching and SigEp's Life After College program help members line up internships, jobs, and the transition out of school.

Carlson Leadership Academies

Regional leadership training every year where chapter officers and members learn how to actually run an organization — skills that carry straight onto a résumé.

Our Philanthropy

Partnered with the Epoch Dream Center

We work alongside the Epoch Dream Center, a free after-school program in Salisbury serving under-resourced kids from kindergarten through middle school. Their mission is to mentor, nurture, encourage, and equip children in academics, character development, behavior, and emotional wellness.

Epoch runs academic tutoring and homework help, one-on-one mentorship pairing students with positive role models, social-emotional wellness support, family-style meals, and interest hours — everything from art classes to pickleball — plus summer programming and field trips.

Our brothers volunteer their time there and fundraise to keep the doors open, because “sound mind, sound body” shouldn’t stop at our own chapter. It’s one of the most direct ways we live out our values in Salisbury.
